Hey guys,

I am 24 and I just recently got diagnosed with PCOS and Insulin Resistance. The only PCOS symptoms I have are irregular cycles (every 3 weeks, lasting 7-10 days) and that I haven’t been able to get pregnant. As for my bloodwork, everything is normal besides high insulin. The Dr. just prescribed me Metformin ER. Has anyone had luck with Metformin when it comes to regulating your cycle, losing weight, or getting pregnant? I need all the info I can get! I hate taking medicine but I need to lose weight and want to start a family so bad. I feel like this is the only option. My doctor did mention that if I eat bad while taking it I will get bad stomach cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. (I have already been making changes to my diet) please give me some insight! Thank you <3
