Hi this is my second baby 21 weeks and suffering from so many infections down below. I have thrush, "suspected" BV, and a UTI. I'm feeling obviously very sore and itchy, i've had the thrush for so long this pregnancy. I am on metronidazole antibiotics for BV atm. Yesterday I called triage because i felt as though i was in labour, contracting with pain. I was sent down labour and delivery, cervix closed but clear signs of infection, discharge, leukocytes in urine. sent away with more pessary for thrush, codeine for pain and awaiting results from another high vaginal swab.

Still feeling awful today but no contraction pain- but i just stood up from being in bed and had a small blob of yellow discharge. It basically looked like snot sorry tmi. A very small version of what my mucus plug looked like.

Do I need to be advocating for more tests? I'm reading so much on infection being a cause for pre term labour. I don't know if this is simply from the infections I have..
