i am pregnant. i unfortunately need to get an abortion, and i am exclusively pumping. i plan on getting the medication form to abort. i make just enough for his feeds in a 24hr period with about an extra 4-8 oz a day. im so concerned with my milk supply when i get the abortion done. i want to continue to give my son nothing but breastmilk and no formula. has anyone had an abortion and do you know how it will affect my supply? will it be save able if it doesn’t start to drop? i’m only a few months postpartum. i was dumb and didn’t go on birth control. i had sex twice since having my son and i got pregnant. i can’t afford to have another child, not financially, emotionally or physically. my son has some abnormalities we aren’t sure how it will affect him later on so that’s another factor as well on my decision. i would love to have another child and i don’t take my decision lightly and i know i will still hold some regret but it’s just not the best decision for my family or for the child in my womb. please can anyone help me with this? i really don’t want to lose my full milk supply, i don’t even want it to drop as i wont have enough for all his feeds. i’m very upset and distressed. any advice or insight. experiences. anything. please help. thank you

however, my fear is that the abortion, or abortion medication whichever would cause this? i’m afraid it will make my supply tank, or dry me up completely. i want to be able to continue to supply my baby with only breast milk and no formula. that’s what i am asking if anyone has had an abortion and if their breastmilk supply was affected at all. thank you!❤️
