Is it a good idea to only want hookups/fwb after getting out of a relationship?

I don’t want to date in order to find a new boyfriend, I don’t want to look for a partner for a good while. But I don’t think i’d mind innocent things with no strings attached. I don’t know if that a good idea, considering that those relationships don’t really benefit women, but at the same time I don’t want anything serious.

I accidentally voted no. There’s nothing wrong with exploring casual hookups as long as it’s mutual, safe and both of you know that’s all it is and want the same thing. It’s healthy to explore your sexuality and if you feel that you need to experiment with different people, want sex but not a relationship or just want to explore then go for it! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as you’re sure you can handle it. It can be mutually beneficial and if you decide it’s not for you then you’ll have learnt something about yourself and can stop any time.
