I feel like I was stupid but as I was calling the elevator a couple came up to me looking harmless and asked if I lived here. I said no thinking they’d immediately drop it but he goes “thanks we’re shopping around and we’re wondering how it was living here” so I stupidly go “we’ll actually I live in the complex and I like it alot” then they go “so how long have you lived here?” I just said “idk sorry” and got on my elevator.

Part of me feels like I was too trusting by revealing I live here. They had previously gone to the door to our amenity suite(you can only get there via a fob) and looked at the leasing office.
