Has anyone taken clomid (or other fertility drugs) and it made their period late? If so, how long before it started again or did you also need another medication to restart your cycle? After my period was late, my husband and I were so excited, but my pregnancy test was negative. I took another one at the end of the week and it was still negative. I called my doctor and he said test again after the next weekend and if its still negative he'd have me come in. He gave me a prescription for medroxyprogesterone to restart my period and a stronger dose of clomid for the next round. I just wondered if many others have gone through this too. I will say it was heartbreaking going from a late period and expecting a positive pregnancy test to 4 negative tests
