I had my first TVUS on October 30, after having L sided pain for two days. They were able to see the gestational sac (measuring 5w5d), but no yolk sac or fetal pole - with HCG of 4940. They scheduled a follow up appointment for TVUS today, November 11.

Today, nervous as heck, my husband and I went into my appointment. They were able to find baby immediately! Baby is measuring 6w5d, which matches up with my ovulation time line! We were able to see AND HEAR baby’s heart rate of 121 - no HCG drawn today!

We’re so happy! We were initially going to start TTC in March, but decided “why wait to try?” This was our first cycle TTC after being told we would need medical help. Just wanted to remind everyone that even if you don’t see anything on an early ultrasound, it’s okay!
