My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year. 6 months ago my doctor found a functional cyst but said it was nothing to worry about. 3 months later after having very irregular periods, my gyno realize the cyst had gotten bigger to 4cm and suggested I get on birth control for 3 months and it should go away on its own. I am about to reach the 3 month mark and go for another ultra sound, but I am curious if anyone has had this experience and if a hormone birth control pill helped. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks
