Handling Conflict in Friend Group

Hi, so my friend group is about 8 people and a mix of guys and girls. Let's call the two people this is referring to as Ann and Bob. So Ann and Bob went to a party hosted by a different friend they have in common. Ann is dating someone from our immediate friend group. Ann alleges at this party Bob said some negative things about Ann’s boyfriend. When it came up a few weeks later Bob pretty much said she was exaggerating or adding on to what he said. Something about the boyfriend not having ambition and him not understanding since he is white and she is a POC. So since then Ann has been kind of distancing herself from the friend group and she is unwilling to compromise. Note: Ann already didn't care for Bob prior to this because he gets drunk. Sometimes says off-the-wall things but his behavior doesn't bother anyone else besides her. So now the group is in a weird place because the rest of us don't know how to handle it. We want to do stuff together but we don't want to upset Ann by inviting Bob or exclude Bob. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
