How did y’all figure out your due dates?

When I went in for my 1st and so far only ultrasound (I was about 8 weeks), the nurse said I was measuring a week behind. Dr said to keep the same due date, but nurse said to change it. I don’t know how far alone I am right now. The app tells me 14 weeks 6 days. Last menstrual pd was August 12.

Def go with what your dr said. You could’ve ovulated a week late. Also it’s so weird and prob extremely rare for humans but carnivores (including humans) can actually pause their pregnancies and pick up development later on. It’s called Diapause. Bears do it to time their births for spring, when their babies will have enough time to learn to hunt and survive before winter.

it's really hard to get an accurate measurement when they are that tiny i was told. and they really won't change a due date until after your anatomy scan at 20 weeks and only if your over a week different from your last period. babies grow at their own rate your little one could have caught completly up by your 20 week scan. i'd follow what your doctor says :)
