Selling baked goods from home
I have been brainstorming different ideas on how to make some income as a stay at home and homeschooling mom. The thing is my plan was always to go back to teaching once my kids were school aged and this year I decided that I wanted to homeschool my children instead. I never expected to do this but it feels so right.
With that being said, my plan that I’ve had for years is out the window and it’s somewhat liberating and also very confusing because I don’t know now what to do to help financially. I know there are different jobs I can find, but Ive always thought about selling baked goods.
So my question to those who do this—how in the world did you start? 😅 How do you advertise your goods? Word of mouth first? Social media? And how does pick up work, do customers come to your home? I’d love all the insight to gain more information and ideas!
