Did I ovulate ?

I got a peak on CD 17 but the test never got darker than control?  My other app says I ovulated.

The analyzer is wrong. None of your tests are positive. Your tests indicate you haven’t had a surge in LH yet. Ovulation is triggered by the LH surge. Apps don’t know as a certainty when or if you’ll ovulate, and OPK’s don’t guarantee you’ll ovulate either. So yeah, according to your tests, you haven’t had an LH surge yet. Once you have a positive (LH surge), you’ll most likely ovulate within 12-36 hours, but there’s no guarantees. It’s best to twice every day, at least twice a day, starting around CD10!
