Profesterone birth control depression

I had to start taking progesterone birth control for the next 2 weeks since I’m having polyp removal surgery prior to iui. I have to take 2 pills per day. Today was the first day and I am ending the day so upset that I nearly divorced my husband and the dark depression is awful. I don’t know how to get through these next 2 weeks with this awful medication. I have pmdd so this progesterone only feels exactly like the worst pmdd ever. I can’t take estrogen pills because I have factor 5 liedens (blood clotting disorder). My husband is wonderful with no red flags at all.
