At home work out advice / guidance please
Can someone please offer some guidance / advice on full body work outs?
If I’m doing body weight and dumbbell exercises 3x a week, am I ok to do the same work out each day? But add reps and weights as I progress? Or am I supposed to do different ones?
I’m 2 months into regularly working out but Pinterest and articles have me overwhelmed and worried I’m not doing anything right. I’m also not seeing a difference BUT I can do more reps and weights now.
This is the schedule I currently follow but I’m worried it’s not working or right. And I’ve been thinking about switching to full body 3x a week so I can just do cardio another 2.
Wednesday
Cardio / 30-45mins on treadmill and get in at least 3-4 miles
Monday/Thursday
10min jog warm up
5min stretch
10-12 reps / 3 sets
Weighted squats with Overhead press (use 2 20lbs dumbbells)
Weighted sumo squats (use 1 20lbs dumbbell)
RDL’s (2 20lbs dumbbells)
Fire hydrants with resistance band
Rainbows
Tuesday / Friday
10min jog warm up
5min stretch
10-12 reps / 3 sets
-Push ups (7 regular, 3 on knees. Working up to 10)
-leg drop openers
-Weighted fly’s w/ leg lift (2 10lbs dumbbells)
-Weighted Alternated leg/arm sit up (I think these are also called starfish sit ups? lay flat on back w/ legs straight. 10lb dumbbell in one hand. Lift up into sit up and also lift alternate leg)
