Showering first?

I am curious to know how I guess sex works like are you supposed to shower every-time before sex for example say you go to a party with your boyfriend and y’all are drunk and want to get busy. Do you shower first then get busy or just get busy? I’m new to this whole sex world and watch a lot of TV and they never shower and I know it’s not real what’s on TV but I’m kind of confused on if should shower first or not

I shower on my regular schedule so I’m always clean enough for sex. We just get our freak on whenever we feel like it because we maintain good hygiene.

The difference with me is.. i live with him.. have kids.. we typically have sex at night when kids are asleep.. that's just what we prefer.. i have a shower.. or if we are in a rush to get it on.. i have a wash down there.. i can't not have sex without being clean.

Sex very rarely impacts my showering schedule. Unless we’re planning on doing butt stuff, then we shower together before. 
For the most part, we don’t plan on showering before or after sex. Unless one of us has been sweating or something like that.

It just depends, we would most likely shower before the party, going out etc. But sometimes we have random sex and we both aren’t necessarily freshly showered

We're both very clean people, we take daily showers. I wash my hair 3 times a week, but still wash my body daily. That's why I feel comfortable just being intimate without showering right before.

I shower first typically if I’m sober just bc I feel better. But if I’m drunk. You get what you get lol. I’m a different breed sober vs drunk.
