33weeks cramps Or contractions!?

Hi all! I’m 33 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days have been experiencing on and off period like cramps. Are these contractions? I’m afraid I wouldn’t know what they felt like if I were to experience them! I appreciate advice and insight!

I’m currently 34 weeks and I’m experiencing the same thing. I believe it’s Braxton hicks because labor pains apparently increase in intensity. They don’t go away until baby is here
