Period or what?

Long story short: I had a chemical in November and my cycles the past 2 months have been wonky. This month I started my period a week earlier than normal on the 15th then yesterday I started spotting which has continued into today expect it’s a bit darker and I’m having to wear a pad.

I took a pregnancy and ovulation test. Preg was negative and ovulation was almost positive. Could it be ovulation bleeding? This has never happened before so I’m at a loss.
