My daughter is 14 and she's really into watching streams and TikTok. There's this tiktoker. I won't say his name because I trying to decide whether or not to expose him. My daughter likes his music and we saw this person in public. My daughter pointed at him so we went up to ask for a picture. My daughter is 14 and really excited so she wanted to hug him and tried to but he pushed her back. He said he didn't want a hug or a picture because he's sick today. My issue wasn't that he was sick. It wasn't that he didn't want a hug. Quite frankly if he's sick I definitely don't want hugging her if he's sick. My problem was he was kind of rude about it. He said it and walked off. I understand people who was "famous"(idk who this guy is. Heard about him from my daughter) have lived to. But when you decide to make content and put yourself out there I do believe you owe it to your fans to at least be kind. I get being sick but at least try to be happy to see a fan. Now I did talk to my daughter after that it's not okay to just go up to someone and hug them. Famous or not. But I kind of want to make a mini call out tiktok since in the end he was a little rude. Would that be immature?

He is a person and a human just like anyone else. None of us are perfect people. Sometimes when we're sick, we are not in the mood and that goes for every single person. Being a content creator has absolutely nothing to do to being "kind" to ramdom strangers running up to you and demanding pictures of you and trying to hug you. Imagine if your 14 year old daughter was a content creator and some stranger she doesnt know ran up to her and tried to put their arms around her and wanted pictures of her. Would you have gotten pissed that she was rude to the person and pushed them off and walked away, or would you have been pissed that the person completely invaded her personal space and demanded photos and touched her without her consent just because she posts online and theres strangers that enjoy her content? Age and gender do not matter when it comes to consent: NO MEANS NO. This person was sick and did not want anyone, much less a 14 year old teenager, running up to him in public wanting photos and touching him. The fact that you said he pushed her off of him shows that she hugged him WITHOUT his consent and that YOU let her do it. 14 is plenty old enough to understand boundaries and personal space and to ASK before touching ANYONE, regardless of their social following status. Maybe you should be less concerned about a sick stranger not wanting to he touched by someone he doesnt know and a lot more concerned with your 14 year old daughter running up to, putting her arms around and asking for photos of complete strangers just because she recognized them from social media.
