Can spotting occur before ovulation ? 🤨

Question

Okay so my partner and I had sex on Thursday, Friday and Sunday morning. I believe I happened to ovulate early because I had heavy gooey discharge around Thursday and so on after . Saturday as I wiped , I happened to notice light spotting and again this Sunday morning . It’s gone now but I’m curious if it’s possible to have light spotting during my fertile window ? 
Can some please better explain this for me 🙏

No way of I won’t when you are fertile without using opk and bbt discharge don’t tell you that you are ovulating or fertile. All ewcm means is that your cm is best for sperm to last in and not be ovulating as it can be seen at any stage in your cycle.
