Dilated 2cm

Hi everyone got a question I am 36 weeks 5 days I was checked 2 days ago n was told I was 2cm dilated and last night I lost pieces of mucus plug now this morning contractions have started lightly but noticeable this is my 3rd baby should I be worried that things are gonna speed up as I’ve been dealing with a lot of Braxton hicks up to this point has anyone else been here and went into labor I never experienced this with my last two pregnancies so definitely curious if I should be ready for the possibility of baby coming today
