Bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant!!????

Hi, I’m 5 weeks pregnant. I went to the ER Yesterday because I started light bleeding bright red. Two days before I was spotting pink & then it stopped and now yesterday bright red. I panicked. I was told that they don’t know if it’s a miscarriage or not since I’m still super early. 
They found a gestational sac when they did a transvaginal ultrasound but no yolk/baby inside. They said it may be because it’s to early? Also conception I believe was 3 weeks ago but they calculated me at 5 weeks (first day of last period) 
They said my HCG was at 3600. My previous HCG was at 2900. They said it probably didn’t double because they used different labs. Has this happened to anyone? 
I am currently being seen by a fertility clinic/specialist but they weren’t open since it’s weekend and I couldn’t get a hold of them & they haven’t cleared me to go to my regular OB. This Friday coming up I have my first transvaginal ultrasound with them & I’m supposed to be cleared afterwards. 
Has anyone bled like this in early pregnancy? Mild cramping as well. I’m super nervous and I feel like this is just a waiting game now. This is so nerve wrecking. Here is what the doctors said in the medical report from yesterday. Does anyone have an idea of what some of these words mean and can rephrase them? Thank you!

The lab that they were taken at won’t affect the quantity of hcg in your system, that’s the same all across the board at any lab ! It’s good that it’s still rising though, it would be more ideal if it doubled in 2 days. It typically doesn’t slow down doubling till 6000-10000 range. 
Time will tell and hopefully fertility doc will have more answers for you. The sac being empty though without even a yolk sac and free fluid sounds like it could possibly be a blighted ovum :( hopefully this works out for you.

	•	Your doctor will likely recommend repeat HCG testing to track the trend more accurately.
	•	A follow-up ultrasound may be needed in a few days to check for the development of a yolk sac and fetal pole.
	•	If HCG continues to rise but no fetal structures appear, your provider may discuss other possibilities, such as a non-viable pregnancy or concerns like ectopic pregnancy.
