Baby movements vs Contractions

Hi everyone,

I am 24+1, but I am carrying a really big baby, by his size it could be at least 27 weeks or more. However, nobody seemed to concern about it since me and my husband are very tall.

Anyway, last night I got sudden mild cramps, it felt like having to use the restroom and period cramps at the same time. Meanwhile the baby was really active the entire time. I am still having a little bit of pain, but not as near as last night. Is it possible that the funny position of the baby and his size can triger somewhat contraction like pain? I am a FTM so I am nit really sure how they feel.

Have anyone experienced something like this, is it possible to have this kind of pain because of the baby movements.
