My sister has lived a pretty traumatic life and I think she takes that out on her kids. She hates her kids. She hates her husband. She hates her life. She's also a pretty terrible person and has done some horrible things. But that's neither here nor there. What was that? That was terrible. Arguably worse than the one he gave my sister. I know she won't care if I have a better talk with my nephew because she does not care about her children. @G CPS has been called on my sister and her hand like 10 times. They've closed every case opened against her. CPS in our state is complete shit.

Edit: I can't convince her to get help. She won't. She does hate her children. I know it's easy to say she doesn't but she does. This isn't her being unable to show love. She doesn't like her kids. My oldest niece doesn't live with her because my sister would abuse her because she was mad her father loved her more. My sister is also just an overall terrible person. The reason CPS got called on her before was because my nephew told the school she gave his older sister a knife and told her if she wants to actually kill herself go down the river, of she wants attention keep going across the stream but she isn't going to give her that attention. My other sister doesn't talk to her because she drugged her and robbed she. People have tried to get her to get help. She refuses and probably won't change until she does something so terrible she goes to prison. I know trauma rewires your brain. But at some point when you're in your 40's you can't keep using that as an excuse. She's in her 40's. She's stuck in her ways. She only ever feels happy when she's hurting people including her children and the only reason I stay in her life is because I'm worried if these kids have no one they will either kill themselves or turn out like her.
