3 Week Old Dehydrated?

Our 3 week old has been insatiable and extra fussy.  My husband thinks she’s dehydrated and that’s what’s going on.  I think it’s the 3 week growth spurt but am not sure.  Can newborns get dehydrated when drinking 100-120ml of breast milk every 1-3 hours?

I think your husband has no idea lol 3 week olds are just hungry and fussy. There’s not much more to it. They might need to poop, they might be growing, they might be pissed they’re on the outside now, and I don’t blame them. They’re literally learning how to be a human, it’s not that fun.

3.3-4 oz every 1-3hrs is actually a bit much. Make sure you are using a slow flow nipple and pace feeding. Breastmilk or formula?
