Cesarean Recovery - How was you’re with littles already at home?

I’m pregnant with baby #4 and because of a really traumatic postpartum experience (particularly within the first 2 weeks pp), I’m considering an elective section, for the first time. My youngest will only be 11 months old when the 4th is born, so I think my BIGGEST concern, is not being able to hold her. My older two will be 7 and 3, so less of an issue there.

I’ve never even been willing to consider a section but I came super close to an emergency cesarean with the last and like I said, had issues immediately postpartum that are having me think harder about whether I should.

Would love to hear about some experiences with cesareans, especially those who had young children at home and if it affected their ability to care for them.
