amoxicillin - yeast infection??

ive been taking amoxicillin for 2 days now and i woke up this morning with an itchy irritated clitoris/vulva. theres not any itchiness in the vagina but my discharge seemed slippery. anyone else experienced this?

Antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I always, always have to be prescribed anti fungals when I’m prescribed antibiotics because I immediately get thrush. You can contact your doctor and see if they will call in a script of anti fungals incase you’re developing a yeast infection

I almost always get thrush after taking co-amoxiclav :(
