Should I drink???

Hello girlies! 
So I had Hepatitis A in August 2024 and by September 2024 I was cured. 
I did not indulge in consuming alcohol for 5 months. Not a single drop. Not that I drink regularly, just when I am out with friends. 
Now I am going on a trip in a few days and I plan on drinking a little more than usual but nothing out of control though (i am responsible like that). 
Should I drink during this trip or no?

From what I understand it can take a full 6 months to fully recover after hepatitis a. If you are feeling better then drinking the recommended daily intake of alcohol is okay any more than that and it can delay fully recovering. The choice is yours.

I feel like if your old enough to drink and knowing you caught a serious but curable disease/infection you should be able to be responsible enough to mad future decisions on whether you would have alcoholic beverages from time to time! 
I personally wouldn’t, but I’m not a drinker to begin with, not even a “social” drinker! I grew up with an alcoholic and I just never liked the taste of alcohol and definitely don’t like the way it makes me feel!
