Is it normal to spot when you have uti?

Im currently 7 weeks and 4 days I been spotting for 3 days now , its just light spotting no clogs mild cramping went to er they confirmed it was a uti and did they did a vaginal ultrasound and they did my baby is fine so is my blood work

Infections can cause a ton of different symptoms during pregnancy. It is very important to get treated for the UTI or any other infection because if left untreated it can cause complications during pregnancy. 
Also light spotting can happen this early in pregnancy for many reasons! If you were able to confirm baby is where it should be and baby has a good heartbeat I wouldn’t worry too much. 
I’d start to worry if your spotting becomes more than spotting like a period accompanied with bad cramping! But from what you said in your post the UTI could cause spotting as well as early pregnancy can also cause light spotting. If you’ve had intercourse recently that can irritate the cervix and can cause light spotting!
