Gestational diabetes

I had my glucose test done on thursday, anyway my midwife just rang and said i have gestational diabetes. Im 25 weeks today. Anyway i did which most of us do and straight away looked it up on interent and it said 'stillborn'. Any women who has gestational diabetes, how did rest of pregnancy go? Was it much different to a non GD pregnancy? Natural birth or ceserean? I couldnt say much on phone as my son was crying. Im highly anxious at best of times so im think worse especially after google
