New to testing....a few questions

So i think i have a positive test but gonna wait til sunday to test again. What tests are best? So many reviews online.....as my period was only due monday 12th may should i still get like early detection tests? Or would my levels be detectable by just a regular test in another say 3 days time? The tests i had positives on altho faint were clear blue early detection and that was in the last 24 hours. I am based in the uk for info too. My first ever possible pregnancy and so i have so many questions and i dont want to go asking people i know in real life yet just incase.
