8dpo, too early?

I’m 8dpo, too early right? Does first response test detect while implanting or just after implanted? I’m still having random cramps both sides, mainly right right now. Yesterday pm was down the middle of my stomach. Feeling tired today. But going swimming to keep busy until tomorrow pm I’ll test again or tues AM fmu!

Answer

No test works during or immediately following implantation. Tests detect hCG which isn’t produced until the fertilized egg implants into the uterus. After implantation it takes a couple days to start producing enough hCG to show up on the most sensitive home tests, which is typically FRER. Good luck! I’d wait another day or two to hopefully see results.
