no period 6 weeks post abortion

hi everyone i’m just wanting some extra opinions before i start to worry lol. i had a surgical abortion on the 7th of april (i was 10 weeks) and i still haven’t had my period back. i had an iud inserted during my surgery and i have pcos so could that be a reason? they told me to come back if i still have no period at 8 weeks post op so that’ll be 7th of june. i’ve had period like symptoms (back pain and cramping) but it’s just resulted in spotting that starts off as red and slowly turns brown before stopping and it’ll only last a few hours. any advice is appreciated!
