Budget friendly recipes?

Does anyone have any budget friendly easy recipes? I live on my own and I’m trying to spend the least amount on food as possible.

Baked potatoes with whatever topping you like. I buy a big bag of potatoes. I might top that with Mexican style, chicken or barbecue chicken. Or Mississippi pot roast. Or broccoli and cheese. And then a salad for my veggies. I buy the big thing of three heads of romaine lettuce, and I store them by cutting off the bottoms and sticking them in mason jars full of water in my fridge. They stay good for a long time like that.￼￼ Another great budget friendly recipe is roasted sweet potatoes, topped with spiced chickpeas. I spice it with cumin and turmeric and garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.  I also roast some onions and peppers in the oven to throw on top. ￼And you could make a little sauce to go with it. I like making a tahini, lime, soy, honey sauce. But you could just as easily do a sour cream or yogurt sauce.￼ Anyway, my point is bags of potatoes our budget friendly, and can be served in so many ways!

I did a lot of batch baking on my pay day to do me a month it worked a treat! 
I would make 
Shepherds pie
Soup 
Cottage pie
I would also get 3x pack of lean mince for spaghetti bolognaise or chilli con carne all veg is fresh and sauce is tomatoes passata with all spices 
I also stocked up on flour for making quiche you can make this at the start of the week have it with salad and have it for lunch or dinner if I make 2 batches. 
Pasta get lots of that as you can make so much with that even for lunch 
I also found making my own fake sways such as making my own dough for pizza, chicken fried rice etc 
Chicken is another thing which is cheap (in my area) and can make so much for dinner or lunch such as chicken salad, chicken curry, chicken pasta with vegetables, chicken and chips. 
If you like cooking/baking you can make your own treats and sweets to save on money. 
I still do batch cooking it’s a live saver been doing this since I was 18 now 31.

Crockpot meals are typically quick and cheap.
-chicken tacos (dump in chicken breasts, canned corn, canned black beans, a taco seasoning packet, and some chicken broth or water…cook on low for 6-8hrs and shred chicken…throw on tortilla)
-chicken breast, green beans, and baby potatoes with butter and seasonings (salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic OR garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning) cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. 
I just sliced up potatoes (russet), boiled them until slightly soft, tossed them in a pan with chopped red onions, green onions, cheese, olive oil, and seasoning. Baked covered for 20 minutes. Uncover on broil until cheese was golden. So cheap and so yummy.

When I was broke in graduate school I lived on hearty soups. I'd use a little meat and then bulk it up with all kinds of beans, lentils, barley, or quinoa and add in whatever veggies were on sale.
