Hey all,

I had unprotected intercourse 2 days before ovulation and took Emergency contraceptive pill on my Ovulation day (2nd March).

Emergency contraceptive pill May or may not have disrupted my Menstrual cycle. Now my period is delayed for 5 days, usually I get it on time. I don’t have any symptoms of Pregnancy as of now and I took test on 1st & 2nd day of my period due date and tested positive pregnancy on both days. I went to the OBGYN, they told me that it might be too early to decide anything and suggested me to ultrasound on 24th March to see if there is any growth. I am stressed and confused.

My usual Menstrual cycle length : 29days

My last period began on: 16th February

Unprotected intercourse on: 28th February

Emergency contraceptive pill on: 2nd March (within 72hours)

Pregnancy test taken on:

16th March - Missed period day 1 - Positive Pregnancy

17th March - Missed period day 2 - Positive Pregnancy

I missed my period by: 5 days as of 20th March

This is an unplanned pregnancy and I am financially struggling. Any advice or information should help.
