How long did it take to get pregnant after depo shot?

I recently had a miscarriage at 7.5 weeks , I got on birth control right away , my question is how long did it take to get pregnant after your last injection , I’m trying to decide how many doses I should get , I wanted to be on it for 6-9 months but not sure yet 
And drop some pros and cons of the depo shot please thankyou🤍

I was on the depo for probably 3ish years. I loved it. I had no side affects no periods. It was great for me. I got my last shot in September/October 2021 and started for a baby in January 2022. My period come back right after I stopped getting them. And I feel like they was normal cycles. We got pregnant in September 2022 and lost the baby in November 2022. I was told it was a natural miscarriage that 1/4 women have it, an it was nothing I done. We are currently trying again, everyone’s experience can be different. But I will send baby dust your way!
