Nighbors baby crying fe

So my neighbors have a baby who goes through periods of crying a lot at night. Last time it happened was the begining of last year for like 2 months. The baby cried almost every night for hours on and off. The walls are thin and i can hear everything... Them opening and closing doors, opening drawers, the loud cries, arguing, talking to the baby....

I went down and complained bc one morning i could also hear them arguing and after a night of crying it was too much for me to hold in...its been causing a lot of stress in my life! They were defensive about it basically saying they will try to be more careful but walls are thin and theres not much to do. I told them its not mainly the crying, but all tje activity around it like the doors and drawers, their voices etc.

Its started happening again the past couple months. It seems they let it cry a bit before going in to stop it. But then its still on and off. i can also hear them argue sometimes around the cries . I understand its an inconvenience of apartment living but i am really on edge with thz disruptions. Whenever i see them i ignore them to show im still pissed because ever since i complained they seemed to be careful for a bit then went back to normal.

What can i do?

EDIT- i just want to precise i did not complain about the crying (though ofcourse it bothers me i know a baby cant just stop)

I complained about all the activity around the crying like the opening and closing of doors and drawers and them arguing/ talking in a high pitch to thz baby at night/early morning hours. Couldnt they atleast be aware enough to control that? Is that unreasonable? Im considerate to them and wear slippers in the house for example.
