How soon after a c section can you drink?

How soon after a c section can you have a glass of wine? Im only talking about 1 glass and Im 11 days post op. Edited to add: not taking any pain meds not even tylenol or ibuprofen. I havent tsken anything since about 6 days post op

At a minimum I was told by my step mom (doctor) to wait 2 weeks for a single glass and if I could manage (not s drinker so it didn't matter much to me) to wait for 4-6 week check and get all clear for normal activities again. The risk of a single glass is very minimal though after 2 weeks for most who are healing well without underlying conditions like liver problems.

As long as you’re not mixing with pain medications, you can have a glass of wine there’s no time restriction

with my second kiddo i had a drink once i got home on day 3. I was only taking strong ibuprofen, first kiddo i did have narcatic pain meds and waited until I wasnt taking those to have a drink.
