No. Easter feels more like a child’s holiday to me unless you’re religious. I wouldn’t leave my husband cash under his pillow if he had a tooth pulled at the dentist either lol. The nonstop overconsumption of constant gift giving for everything is nauseating to me.

No. I think it’s weird that we gave so many gift giving holidays. If I want to give him a gift I will buy getting one just because it’s Easter is weird to me. I don’t even do a basket for my kid.

I make my 2 partners an Easter basket and I order gifts for my 3rd LDR partner. They get gift cards, candy, clothes and 4 items off their Amazon wish lists. 
I usually get lots of gift cards 🥰

We have fun with it! I love dark chocolate marshmallow eggs from our local candy shop so when I buy my kids’ candy, I grab a big egg for myself and put it in the basket I’ve had since I was a kid. My husband, so the kids don’t think he was left out, I throw in a bag of jerky. It’s just for fun….the whole holiday…because we aren’t religious. My kids get excited to see us get something.
