Doctor won't tell me gender from the serum screening test?

Everyone saying they found out the gender this way, why won't mine tell me?

Answer

Sometimes it's not automatically included or insurances won't pay for that particular part of the test. I had my blood work done for the genetics thing and I asked the ultrasound tech. She said she used to think it was all automatic but apparently it's not. It's has to be requested.
