I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are on the name Josie for a girl.. my husband doesn’t really like it but I’m obsessed with it and my mom says it’s not a name it’s a nickname for Josephine but I actually don’t like the name Josephine and wanted to use the nickname Jo for Josie.. thoughts?

It's a good name all by itself. I know plenty Josie's that aren't short for something else.

Josie is a beautiful name 🥰 u can name her Josie instead of Josephine all u want mama, I think it being short is way easier than naming her the while name n it's something different
