Why so many cramps!!!

I know my doctor says its normal but the amount of cramping I have is making me nervous! Just had a friend lose her baby she was 10 weeks! She announced it on Facebook around 6-7 weeks so I feel really bad that she has to now announce that she lost it but everything seemed healthy and now bam! Adds to my nerves! How much cramping are you ladies experiencing???

I've cramping pretty much since I found out at week 6. My midwife said it's very normal especially for first time moms. I get nervous about it too but I look at it as a sign that baby is growing! It's not sharp pain just menstrual cramp. There is a lot growing down there getting ready to nurture baby for the long haul. 14 weeks tomorrow...hope you continue to feel at ease!

I've been cramping on and off since 6 weeks. I'll be 11 weeks in 3 days.

Mine was awful and lasted from about my fourth week into my eight/ninth week. It was so severe and made me feel constantly worried. I know it doesn't help the worrying, but it is normal for some women. I hope it ends soon for you. Congrats on 12 weeks. I'm 12w6d and each week that passes gives me more hope!
