Baby stomach bug?

Can a baby get a stomach bug? My boy is 4 months old and he has pooped 8 times in one day and that is not like him.. he usually poops once a day or every other day..

You will have to use your mother knowledge to know, some babies can just have a poopy day. 
That being said also you will need to decide if he seems unwell, more lethargic, or dehydrated. 
What is his fluid intake like? When was his last wet nappy. If he is vomiting or drinking less you will need to take him to be seen by someone, anyone can get stomach bugs, and young babies can quickly be in danger if they do.
