Section scar

I’ve posted before about my infected scar, I’ve been placed on a second antibiotics and my scar is getting worse. It’s now opening in the top layer, I don’t pull on it or anything. I daily wash it, air it out too.

My sisters friend is a district nurse who works with wound care, she’s mentioned she can place a silver dressing on it to help as it’s gotten worse. Would I need to mention it to my doctor? I’ve gotten to the point where it’s making me depressed, I’ve had this infection since early March
