Signs of labor?

Ladies who have gone through labor. Did you have distinct signs in the day or two prior? Or did it just sneak up on you?

I got a membrane sweep and the next day I started having contractions but were far apart. As it got closer to night they were closer together.

Sort of an instinct but also diarrhea lol

With my 1st I lost my mucus plug slowly, a week before I went into labor. (my water broke at 38+6). He came 7 hours later.

I was in slow labour for a few weeks, kept having lots of braxton hicks and mild contractions on and off. The day I went into labour, I had a bloody show at lunch time but other than that my waters broke and labour started with no real warning.

No signs at all, other than being 40+4. My water broke out of nowhere.

I woke at 3am feeling weird and needing the toilet a lot, then bam. About 2 weeks before I lost my plug but that’s it

No signs the day or 2 prior. The day of, i had a ridiculous number of braxton hicks that eventually turned into labor so it was hard to say exactly when i went into labor

I had 0 signs whatsoever up until 40+5 when in the morning i had a small bit of a bloody show and that was it until 5pm when i was most definitely in labour and contractions were every 2 minutes! Baby was OP and had contractions at this frequency from 3cm onwards.
