Best suv for a family of 7?

It will be our first car since we live in the city we have always used public transportation but it’s time to get a vehicle to travel with a big family. We will be using 2 car seats and a booster So I was wondering any big families out there what type of vehicle would you recommend?

Depends on your budget. Can range from a minivan to Escalade 😅 
I like the ford expeditions or Toyota sienna. Siennas are more gas efficient tho… currently driving an older Lincoln Navigator but it has too many funky issues… idk if it’s just mine or they don’t age well 🤷🏻‍♀️ our Toyota 4-runner (only 5 seater tho) is same age and is much better condition and I keep hearing Toyotas age well and don’t depreciate as soon as the tires drive off the dealers lot.

Sprinter van most manufacturers make them. I personally would get the Mercedes or the Nissan NV2500 HD.

I have a gmc yukon denali and love it.but damn its a gas hog. Maybe a jeep grand cherokee l? Or a subaru... i cant remember but that have 7 seater options.

We are very happy with our Chrysler Pacifica. We really love the seats that fold into the floor. We have the car seats on the back row and (unless the big kids are with us) the second row flat which makes getting the little ones in/out easy even in the rain. Then we pop the second row up for the older kids so they can get in/out for car pool etc without having carseats in the way.

About to have a family of 8 in July. We have a suburban. I actually got in an accident last April and had to drive a minivan…and I never wanted one of those. I can tell you the differences that I liked and didn’t. I like how the doors would slide open on the minivan and I didn’t have to worry about my irresponsible children hitting the car next to us. I liked the way it drove also. As far as the suburban, I like the trunk space way better than in the minivan. I also like being higher up and felt much safer in my big body SUV than in the minivan. I also know that the big SUVs like that don’t lose their value as much as others and can last for a long time as long as they are taken care of. I definitely like SUVs over the minivan even though the minivan is more affordable. I hope this helps you in your decision.

I have a Toyota Sienna and love it. It comes in 7 or 8 passenger and has a lot of trunk space. Now they are available with a hybrid which is great for city driving, even though I live more rural I wish it was available as a hybrid when I got it. We have had great luck with Toyotas, my husband is finally retiring his 2008 truck that has over 400k miles in it, and the worst thing on it at this point is the drivers seat and seatbelt are really worn out. They just started building his new truck yesterday so hopefully we will have it soon.

Family of 7 sounds like minivan territory or something big like a suburban. Check out Car Mom on YouTube. She does reviews of cars, SUVs, and minivans from the perspective of a mom. She goes over car seat setups, safety ratings, cup holders, etc. I found her reviews helpful when we were looking to buy our first SUV last year.

I really wanted a Pathfinder but our researched showed the minivan to have a lot of advantages over the SUVs even though the SUVs are cooler LOL we have the Nissan Quest which is now discontinued, but for eventual replacement we like the Sienna or Odyssey. My SIL had the Crystler and really liked it. We are 6 but for 7 you may want the middle row bench seat vs the 2 captain chairs.
