Who should remove arm implant?

I'm looking to get my birth control arm implant removed. I got it put in at a planned parenthood out of state and there is no planned parenthoods realtively close to me to take it out. I know online it says any nurse or doctor that is trained to do so. I don't have any regular doctors not a general practicioner or obgyn. I was leaning towards contacting a local gynecologist office as I would assume they have more practice with removing the implants? Any suggestions or experiences anyone wants to share on the topic?
