Unmedicated Labor

Jenny

I’m 28 weeks exactly today and I have been researching and finding the pros and cons of having an unmedicated labor. Meaning, I don’t want to have an epidural. I have a 4 year old daughter now and I have 2 epidurals with her because the 1st one didn’t take. And to this day, I honestly feel some of my back pain comes from the spot where the epidurals were at. This is my last pregnancy and I always said; with my last baby I wanted to feel like what it’s like to give birth and feel what it’s like to push a baby out. I’m just scared that during the whole process of labor, I’ll be too exhausted and tired once I get to the pushing process and might have to get a C-section. That’s not what I want at all. So I’m asking for any advice or information or anyone’s personal experience with having a baby without an epidural. Anything and everything will be great! Yes, I know every woman is different and their pain levels are completely different! So I ask, no mean or rude comments please! Thank you very much!

Here’s to entering the 3rd trimester… 12 weeks or less until I meet my baby boy 💙
