Leg Discoloration When Held

Hello,

I have a 4.5 month old son and as the weather has gotten warmer and he’s been wearing shorts more, I’ve noticed that whenever he is held, his lower legs and feet become blotchy purple and red. Has anyone had this happen to their little one? Should I be concerned? I contacted his pediatrician and am waiting on a response.
