Pregnancy nutritions/vitamin question
I am at my first trimester. Is it true if you don’t take your vitamins for a week, or eat enough folic acid, iron, or dha, does it cause birth defects? I am 9 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I haven’t been eating healthy cause of me feeling sick with nausea that I can’t eat and stand the certain foods, and textures which is scary to me. But I have been eating fruits, and snacking when I feel nauseous, but probably not enough folic acid, iron, and dha.
