When did your baby want solids

How could you tell your baby was ready for solids ? Mine is 5 months still teething no teeth yet and not really grabbing for food just drinking her breast milk all day. I have a 5 year old and I felt so different about changing her stuff and solids and this and that I feel like a new mom again 😂😂

i started giving my son purées with breast milk at 4 months. I would always make sure to give it a couple days in between just in case he had a reaction to anything (I was paranoid lol). He is now 9.5 months & gets pretty much anything that isn’t salty & he can chew with his two little teeth once to three times a day depending on his mood. Some days he doesn’t care for anything other than those little star shaped puffs but other days he’s trying to grab my burrito from me!😹 I say start whenever they seem interested & can fully stupider their own head in a seat. If it doesn’t work out, you can always come back to it in a few weeks.

Not until 6m old and all ready signs met. That is all major health organizations recommendations. Also teeth do not matter when eating solids. Chewing molars don’t come in until close to 2yrs, you don’t eat with your front teeth anyway.
